ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT

Our commitment

We want this website to be usable by as many people as possible, including people using assistive technology, keyboard-only navigation, screen magnification, or reduced-motion settings. Accessibility is something we keep working on as the site develops, not a box we’ve ticked once.

Conformance target

We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA. The site has been built with WCAG 2.2 Level AA in mind and is undergoing ongoing accessibility review, rather than having completed a full formal audit against every success criterion.

What we’ve built in

• Semantic page structure with proper headings and landmark regions (header, navigation, main content, footer)
• One clear heading (H1) per page, with a logical heading order underneath it
• Keyboard-operable navigation, links and buttons, with no functionality that depends on a mouse
• Visible keyboard focus states on interactive elements
• Responsive layouts that adapt to different screen sizes and zoom levels without losing content
• Descriptive alt text on meaningful photography
• Labelled form fields, with clear required-field marking and visible validation/error messages
• Colour choices checked for reasonable contrast against their backgrounds, including text over photography
• Reduced-motion support: animations and transitions are minimised for visitors who have asked their device to reduce motion
• No autoplaying audio or video; the embedded Bandcamp player only plays when you choose to press play
• Responsive images that load an appropriately sized version for your device

Compatibility

This site is built to work with current, up-to-date versions of major browsers on desktop and mobile, and with standard assistive technology that works with those browsers. It does not rely on plugins, Flash, or other technology that assistive technology typically cannot access.

How we’ve checked this

We’ve assessed the site through our own internal review during development, alongside browser-based responsive and functional testing at a range of screen sizes. We have not commissioned a formal third-party accessibility audit or specialist assistive-technology testing lab, and we don’t want to overstate what internal review can confirm.

Known limitations

The site is still undergoing accessibility review. We are not currently aware of specific unresolved accessibility defects beyond ordinary ongoing refinement, but we have not completed a full audit, so we can’t promise this page lists every issue. If you come across a problem that isn’t mentioned here, please let us know so we can look into it.
